    Did you know that the Lincoln School Library is open for borrowing by parents, caretakers, and preschool children?

    The LMC is available for family borrowing on Wednesday mornings, from 9-10. Family borrowers are also welcome right before and after school most days. Keep your eye on the Family Room Schedule for more information, or contact Ms. Farquhar.

    Second and Third Students took to the halls and traveled "around the world" to participate in a variety of holiday crafts, games, and activities

    Second Grade students pose with turkey cards and pins they made for the residents "The Heritage Home for Women," an assisted care facility in Schenectady. Students completed the project as part of "Make a Difference Day." "Make a Difference Day" is a national celebration dedicated to performing acts of volunteerism. Students in grades k-5 contributed in a variety of ways, including collecting items for charity, making crafts, and doing yard work in the community.

    Students topped off a week-long participation in the National Mock Election with an Election Convention/Rally.
    Students shared information and issues through endorsment speeches, songs, and recitation. The students enjoyed sharing what they'd learned and cheering for their favorite candidate! (click eack picture below to see a larger version)

     
     

     


    Check your school calender for a variety of great PTA sponsored activities in December, including Pizza with Santa and a holiday Craft Workshop

    Reading and working with Sunny, a registered therapy dog, helps Lincoln students to improve reading skills and confidence in a way that is effective, unique, and fun.
