in December 2009, the Chartwells food service program has
introduced two changes to the menus:
•
Breakfast
menus include special "free" breakfast
and raffle days at each school.
Students
at each elementary school can enter a drawing for
ten $10 Walmart gift cards on those days; secondary
students can compete for four $25 Walmart gift cards. |
•
Elementary
menus will now have a choice of five entrees each
day. Each day will feature the main menu and four choices.
For example, on every Friday, students can choose pizza,
peanut butter and jelly sandwich, turkey sandwich or
a garden salad. There is also a regular menu offering
on those days. |

The annual Holiday on the Avenue in Scotia is scheduled
