Due to circumstances beyond our control, the sixth grade orientation day has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 28. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope all of you will still be able to attend.

From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. will be for students only to participate in Where Everybody Belongs (WEB). This first phase of the program supports students as they move up to middle school by assigning peer mentors and engaging in fun team activities.

At 12 p.m. — the second phase includes parents, guardians, and students for the traditional orientation of touring the school, picking up a lock and setting up a locker, meeting their guidance counselor, signing up for parent portal and asking any clarifying questions.

While it is not mandatory, all 6th graders are invited and encouraged to attend the WEB program. Students will meet classmates and their 8th grade mentor for the year.

More information will be coming to you by mail this summer. Please mark your calendars now and reach out with any questions by emailing MSWEB@sgcsd.net

We hope to see your student there!
