Congratulations to senior Tyler Luckhurst, whose photograph was accepted in the Festival of Young Artists show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
The Festival will be held on Sunday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. It is free to the community when you order tickets, on line, in advance at SPAC
If you do not purchase tickets in advance, there will be a charge upon entering.
The Festival of Young Artists is a free community event that is presented annually at SPAC to celebrate the creativity of more than 500 of the Capital Region’s actors, dancers, musicians, singers, poets, and visual artists
When the doors open at 2:00 p.m., SPAC will host a festival of student pop-up performances, fine art displays, food stands, poetry slams, workshops, and activities.
At 4:30 p.m., many young artists gather to present a concert on SPAC’s main stage, featuring large-scale productions that combine visual art, music, poetry, and dance. The concert program will include a recitation of Richard Blanco’s “Declaration of Interdependence,” as well as other works.
