Dear Scotia-Glenville Staff and Families,

We are writing to update you on a recent cybersecurity incident involving our Student Information System, PowerSchool. PowerSchool has experienced a global data breach at a corporate level. This data breach may or may not have included some of our student and staff data. We are working with PowerSchool to determine if our data had in fact been part of the corporate-level breach. We can assure you that sensitive information, such as social security, medical information, or financial information, would not have been part of that compromised data set.

We will provide any additional updates or information as it is made available.
