On Monday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m., the Scotia-Glenville Central School District Board of Education will convene for a regular meeting in the Middle School Cafeteria. This meeting is open to the public and will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. Additionally, on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m., the Scotia-Glenville Central School District will host a school safety forum in the Middle School Cafeteria. This event will also be livestreamed on the district’s YouTube channel.
The safety forum aims to provide insights into the district’s collaboration with law enforcement and their responses to various situations. It will include representatives from the Board of Education, district administration, the State Police Department, the Town of Glenville Police Department, and the Village of Scotia Police Department, with Mr. Michael Needham from Needham Risk Management facilitating the discussion.
