A Wall of Honor and gratitude cards unite generations

In tribute to our nation’s heroes

Out of respect and remembrance, Glendaal students gathered for the second annual celebration honoring veterans.

With heartfelt devotion, they crafted a “Wall of Honor,” paying tribute to cherished family members and dear friends who have valiantly served our nation. Young minds from grades K-5 proudly shared the names of these heroes, their military branches, and the reasons for their admiration.

This occasion blossomed into a cherished moment for Glendaal’s staff and students to express their gratitude for the courageous souls—past and present—who grace our community; a tapestry of generations of veterans was beautifully woven together.

Additionally, students embraced the spirit of gratitude by creating thank you cards for current service members, as part of a noble initiative that includes a sincere letter or card with each care package dispatched overseas through “Operation Gratitude.”
