Support Friends of Music

Dear Friends,

Welcome back for the 2024-2025 school year. I am writing to you about the Scotia-Glenville Friends of Music, a group of volunteers who have supported music in our school district for over 40 years.

We are grateful for your contributions, which have helped us purchase and repair instruments, offer scholarships and awards to students, cover accompanist fees, and defer some of the costs associated with New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) participation at the county, district, and state levels.

Your donations have continued to make a difference in the lives of our students and the community. We are asking you to join us again this year by contributing. Please click this link to access the membership form and various options for how you can help. Or, simply print out the attached document and mail with a check to the address on the form.

All members’ names will appear in our concert programs, which reach many families at school music performances. Thank you for considering our cause. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Sincerely,
Emily Orr
President, Scotia-Glenville Friends of Music
