We share the river with rowing teams from Shenendehowa, Niskayuna, Scotia, Guilderland, Schenectady, Mohawk Homeschool, Union College, and Schenectady County Community College to name a few.
Our boathouse is equipped with a 2 story, heated indoor training facility complete with ergometers (rowing machines), free weights, universal systems, balance and stability equipment, circuit equipment, cardio equipment, video training and more. We’re able to utilize the facility throughout the year, especially in the winter when the river is no longer accessible.
Racing
We are fortunate to be so close to the Saratoga Rowing Association who host the majority of our races throughout the year. Middle school racing remains local with competitions at home on the Mohawk River, the Hudson River in Mechanicville, and Fish Creek in Saratoga. High school athletes have the opportunity to travel for racing. Fall racing to Boston, MA and Pembroke, NH; Spring racing to Scholastic Nationals in Camden, NJ; and Summer racing in Philadelphia, PA and St. Catharines, ON.
