Glen-Worden’s annual food drive and fitness event

The HIVE Drive

Thank you for your support! Glen-Worden Elementary collected 500 items for the Scotia-Glenville Food Pantry located in the village of Scotia. The pantry staff were grateful for this donation, especially since they have seen a rise in families needing assistance, which has left their shelves quite empty. “As a school, we encourage kindness among each other every day, but this was a truly special show of compassion for our community,” said Brett Campbell, the school’s physical education teacher.

Mr. Campbell organizes this fun event where students run laps around the school, cleverly combining the food drive with a lively fitness activity that he puts together each year.
