Congratulations to track star Ashlee Greene and unified basketball player Sean McLaughlin for being selected as the top performing Tartan athletes.

Female Athlete of the Month

Ashlee Greene

Ashlee Greene is from the varsity girls track team.

This senior competed in the state Qualifying Meet in the 400 hurdles and 4X400 relay. She helped her team win the Foothills Championships.

Ashlee’s Tartan Teamwork of encouragement and kindness brings the team together the 1 Tartan Way. 

Ashlee also plays soccer and runs cross country and indoor track—while maintaining a 94 average in the classroom. 

Male Athlete of the Month

Sean McLaughlin

Sean McLaughlin is from the unified basketball team.

This senior leads the team in rebounds and assists. A selfless player, he truly understands what “unified” means.

Sean’s integrity can be seen when no one is watching—how he helps the custodians clean up after games and helps his teammates learn new plays and skills.

Sean works hard in the classroom as well, where he carries a 95 average.
