Congratulations to the Scotia-Glenville Unified Basketball team!
Finishing the season with an impressive 5-3 record, the Scotia-Glenville team demonstrated resilience and determination.
With 21 dedicated players on the roster, the season was not just about the wins and losses, but about the friendships that blossomed, and the connections made both on and off the court. These relationships have a lasting impact, showcasing the profound difference that inclusion and teamwork can make.
“Their journey to the finals was marked by a thrilling victory over Broadalbin-Perth in the semifinals. Though they fell to Queensbury, 35-28, in a hard-fought final, the spirit and drive they displayed were commendable,” said Coach Ron Ashcraft.
The second-place finish is a testament to their hard work and the inclusive spirit that unified sports foster. Here’s to many more seasons of success, growth, and unity! We are so proud!
