    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education amend the appointment of Rick Arket as the Districtwide DASA Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year and retroactively appoint Susan Swartz and Rick Arket as Districtwide DASA Co-Coordinators for the 2024-2025 school year, effective July 1, 2024.

  14. Approve the Changes of The Glen-Worden Elementary School PTA Scholarship in Honor of Principal Nicholas Criscone

    Superintendent Recommended: That the Board of Education approve the changes of The Glen-Worden Elementary School PTA Scholarship in honor of Nicholas Criscone, as submitted.

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated September 23, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the gift and donation from Susan Chaffin of a full-size Halo cello with bag and bow, with an approximate value of

    $1,000.00, and a Fender Stratacoustic Electric Guitar, with an approximate value of

    $250.00, to the High School music program, as submitted.

  22. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation for the Rainey Award

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated September 19, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the gift and donation from Rayma Schebell in the amount of $150.00, to be applied to the Rainey Award, as submitted.

    1. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the verbal resignation of Colton Barber, Varsity Football Assistant Coach, effective c.o.b. September 10, 2024, with appreciation for his service to the district.
    2. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the verbal resignation of Robert Leto, Varsity Football Head Coach, effective c.o.b. September 16, 2024, with appreciation for his service to the district.
    3. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the verbal resignation for retirement purposes of Brian Fresoni, Monitor (Glen-Worden Elementary), effect c.o.b. September 24, 2024, with appreciation for his service to the district, as submitted.

    a. Staffing
    1. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education retroactively approve two days for Christy Dunn prior to her official appointment of September 25, 2024 for shadowing purposes, at her 2024-2025 daily rate.
    2. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Regina Hill as Teaching Assistant (Middle School), effective October 7, 2024 through October 6, 2028, with 2024-2025 salary to be at the rate of $19.85/hour (Step 3). Ms. Hill has Teaching Assistant Level III certification.
    3. Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve Cherisse (Reece) Constantine as a tutor for the 2024-2025 school year, with rate of $32.00/hour.
    4. Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education retroactively approve Eileen Hyland as an English Student Teacher at the Senior High School, effective September 3, 2024.
    5. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following individual and her stipend for Sacandaga Drama Club for the 2024-2025 school year: Heather Marlette – $300 stipend
    6. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following individuals, and their stipend, for Glendaal Elementary Cardinal Craft Club for the 2024-2025 school year: Mary Crandall – $200 stipend Lynn Bruce – $200 stipend
    7. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following individuals, and their stipend, for Lincoln Elementary Sign Language Club for the 2024-2025 school year: Lisa Coppola – $200 stipend Leah Clem – $200 stipend

Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the change of provisional appointment of Jennifer Burkhart, Executive Secretary I from Middle School – Counseling Office, with 2024-2025 salary to be at the rate of$18.25/hour, 8 hours/day, 10 month plus 20 summer days to Glendaal Elementary, effective September 30, 2024, with 2024-2025 salary to be at the rate of$18.25/hour, plus $0.30/hour for secretary to the building principal responsibility,7.5 hours/day, 10 month plus 20 summer days
