Isabel Amurao Brings Home the Singles Title for SG!
Huge news for Scotia-Glenville athletics! SGHS Senior Isabel Amurao delivered an incredible performance on Wednesday afternoon at Central Park, Schenectady, capturing the Section 2 Girls' Singles Championship with a thrilling victory over the top seed and defending state champion! As Coach Olson noted, Isabel’s preparation, conditioning, and drive to win set a standard of excellence that makes all of Tartan Nation proud.
Isabel isn't done yet! She will represent Scotia-Glenville at the NYSPHSAA State Tournament at the world-famous USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in NYC. We send our best to Isabel and Coach Olson as they head to States!
Go Tartans!
