Unified Bocce - Premier Season!

Celebrating an Incredible Inaugural Season for Our Unified Bocce Team!
What a monumental first year for our Unified Bocce program! Finishing our inaugural regular season with a 4-2 record and taking second place in our postseason division, our team proved that dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship are a winning combination.

Regular Season Highlights (4-2)

Our athletes and partners went head-to-head with some fantastic competition across the region, showing grit and determination in every single frame:

• vs. Waterford: W, 5–4
• vs. Schenectady: W, 5–4
• vs. Burnt Hills: L, 5–4
• vs. Niskayuna: L, 5–4
• vs. Ballston Spa: W, 7–2
• vs. Saratoga: W, 5–4 (handing Saratoga their only loss of the entire season!)

Postseason Success

In the postseason tournament, the team kept the momentum going, securing second place in their division—finishing just behind Glens Falls while topping strong teams from Shenendehowa and Hadley-Luzerne!

Growth, Community, and Friendships

With 19 players taking the court this year, many were picking up a bocce ball for the very first time. While there was a steep learning curve at the beginning, the growth in strategy, skill, and court awareness as the weeks went on was incredible to watch.
More importantly, the bond between our partners and athletes grew into lasting friendships that go far beyond the court. That spirit of inclusion, support, and togetherness is what Unified Sports is all about.
